John Arn - Clobert, WA - A seventy year collector / accumulator of the thirteen South American countries. The last 25 years devoted almost exclusively to collecting the Elizabethan II period of Canada. Member of the American Philatelic Society, The Spokane Club (Inland Empire Philatelic Society), American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors (AAPE) and British North America Philatelic Society (BNAPS) - the Society for Canadian Philately. Past editor of the Corgi Times (newsletter of the BNAPS Elizabethan II Study Group) and a member of the Order of the Beaver (OTB). This look at the 3 cent Jefferson is the limit of U.S. collecting activity.
John Burnett, Oak Harbor, WA - Life long collector specializing in Canada. Avid exhibitor and has won large vermeil internationally. A member of the American Philatelic Society, American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors (AAPE), and the Postal History Society of Canada. He is a very active member of the British North America Philatelic Society (BNAPS) having served or is now serving in a number of positions: Currently a member of the Board and Education Committee. While director of Study Groups he increased their number from 5 to 30. Has served as a Regional Group Vice President and is a member of the Order of the Beaver (OTB). The 3 cent Small Queen has won Gold in a Canadian National show.
John Mullen - Arlington, WA - A long time collector, dating back as best as he can recall to age 5 or 6, with a number of diverse interests. Those of special interest include a specialized collection of Germany, Flag cancels of Washington State, and Postal History collections of a number of counties in western Washington State.
David Oldfield - Post Falls, ID - His collecting interests are almost entirely Canadian. He is a member of the Spokane Inland Empire Philatelic Society, the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC), the British North American Philatelic Society (BNAPS) and the American Association of Philatelic Exhibitors (AAPE). He is an exhibitor of Canadian material and is actively promoting one page stamp displays at regular scheduled meetings of the Spokane club.
Arlene Sullivan - Burnaby, B.C. - A member of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada, British North America Philatelic Society as well as a number of other study groups and societies. Has written for the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada and served as Editor - The Federated Philatelist - the newsletter of the Northwest Federation of Stamp Clubs. Pursues an eclectic collection including PNE covers, early French cancels, Europeon overprints, German definitives and is Canada's leading authority on Stick N Tick and Greet More issues. She has completed the apprentice requirements and is an approved National Level Canadian Judge.
William C. Walton - Bremerton, WA - A member of a number of philatelic societies with perhaps the favorite being the American Philatelic Society, MEPSI (Mexico) and the U. S. Postal History society. He is an ambassador for stamp collecting and serves as a mentor of APS on classical stamps of the world. Along with his keen interest in the stamps of Mexico he specializes in collecting postal history to and from Mexico up to 1880.

AUCTION I - A SILENT AUCTION! Enter as may lots as you desire. Starting price on each lot is minimum of $3.00. Bidding increments are not applicable and lots may not be subjected to a minimum or reserve price. Lots will be awarded to the highest bidder as of the end of the designated silent period time. The designated time is 4:05 PM.
AUCTION II - REGULAR FLOOR BID AUCTION! Everyone is urged to enter at least 3 lots. Additional lots, may be entered at the sole discretion of the auctioneer. Time constraints limit total floor lots to no more than 150. Minimum opening bid is $3.00 per lot or the sellers stated minimum selling price.Minimum price, if any, must be stated on the lot card. Bidding increments will be announced by the Auctioneer.
Precautions will be taken to safeguard auction lots. Insurance is the responsibility of the seller. The Inland Empire Philatelic Society, the Inland Northwest Philatelic Day committee, the Best Western Lake Inn and Conference Center, their agents, officers, employees, volunteer or paid assistants or any other person authorized to perform any task in connection with the auction lots shall NOT be liable for damage or loss or claim thereof of any kind or for any reason whatsoever.
ALL PARTICIPANTS:
1. Please enter material in both Auctions.
2. Turn lots over to Auction Manager during registration.
3. Very, very important! Please have lot identified by a catalog reference: Scott, Brookman, Other (show year). State the catalog value, whether used, unused or mint never hinged and condition. Add any "unique" information. Complete data is essential for top price.
4. A non-refundable lot fee of $1.00 will be collected regardless of the number of lots entered in either or both auctions. Total auction costs are $1.00.
On Interstate 90 from the West - Exit 176 (Broadway) - As soon as you cross Interstate 90 the Best Western is on the left.
On Interstate 90 from the East - Exit 176 - the Exit intersects (Broadway) and the Best Western is directly in front across Broadway.
The Best Western & Conference Center is initially holding a block of rooms and are offering a favorable group rate of $70 per night (Friday and Saturday night). Please be sure to mention you are part of the "stamp group."
